The 4 Pillars

  • Pilates

    We use Pilates principles, originally called Contrology, to teach students impulse-control, core-strength, concentration, coordination, and intentional mind-body connection. 

  • Yoga

    We teach Yoga poses, flows and sequences to connect breath to movement and improve balance, strength, and flexibility in both mind and body.

  • Meditation

    We introduce Meditation with guided visualizations, deep connection to self-awareness and presence, and welcomed moments of silence and stillness. 

  • Mindfulness

    We customize Mindfulness techniques with social-emotional learning skills, breathwork for the nervous system, and mindset coaching tools for self-actualization, coping strategies and healthy habits.

Meet Mary

Mary founded The POGA Method in 2015 when she told her students how she builds outer strength by combining Pilates + Yoga. 

“POGA!” they said.

Now thousands of students in Los Angeles, New York City, and beyond are practicing Mary’s unique method with the addition of Meditation and Mindfulness to build inner strength too.
